My Most Recent Trip was a short roadtrip to AMSTERDAM, Netherlands. This Country! This CIty! WAOW. One of the best trips I have had in a while, despite the fact that i got a flat tire 1 km away from the hotel and had to wait 2 hours for road assistance! Everyone is just amazingly happy and helpfull! That is 2 major points for traveling, to be met with happy citizens and helpfull ones! Best of all, everyone spoke perfect English with a sexy accent!
I have to say, if you ever have a weekend where you have no idea what to do and you have a max 6 hour trip to this city, then go for it! The city is so amazing and there is so much to explore that it is ok if you do not see or do it all in one weekend! It just gives you more reasons to come back and explore over and over again!
This was my second time visiting for a weekend, the first time I stayed with a local person... and got to see some real nice pancake place and alot of shopping and other good food.
This time, pretty much the same, but also some visits to a coffeeshop, carshop (getting the tire replaced), every little street i walked there was something that I loved! It has the most perfect mix of everything that I like, freedom, coffee, happiness, liberation, chill vibes, positive vibes... I WANT TO LIVE THERE!
And... I did get super lucky with the weather, coming in there was a big big rain/thunder storm and even the weather forecast said it was suppose to be rainy and cloudy all weekend. But it was the sunniest saturday and although sunday was cloudy, it was warm and nice still, so I could easily sit outside for breakfast and have an awesome granola and cappuccino mixed with american breakfast and extra side of bacon!!!
